June 11: Hundreds picket Rep. Ryan’s office to say “Good Jobs Now!”

Hundreds of protesters descended on Congressman Paul Ryan’s office in Kenosha to express their anger at his federal budget proposal that cuts Medicare and does nothing to create jobs.

The Ryan budget proposal puts the burden of balancing the budget on the middle class and seniors while cutting taxes for millionaires and providing tax subsidies for corporations that outsource jobs. Under the plan, seniors and people with disabilities face higher costs that could make health care out of reach yet the vital issue of job creation is ignored.
